Background

The 5th ICOLLATE 2023 International Conference is hosted by the Faculty of Languages, Arts, and Culture, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Pulling together several current and critical issues for Linguistics and TEFL researchers, policymakers, and practitioners, ICOLLATE provides an excellent platform for scholars who want to explore how the disciplines of English language teaching and linguistics are increasingly expanding and evoking interdisciplinary research to offer benefits to society.

Objectives: 

The conference aims to motivate researchers from these disciplines to share their applicable research findings – how languages can solve our local and global challenges. To achieve its purpose, ICOLLATE invites papers on the following broader themes:
